Adamantinoma

Predominantly arises in long bones in a subcortical location (95% in the tibia or fibula)

Occasionally occurs in the jaw, forearm, hands, or feet

Most commonly, patients are diagnosed in their 20s or 30s

About 20 percent of the time, the tumors spread to the lungs or nearby lymph nodes

Treatment consists of wide resection or amputation
